Shaikh Khalid was speaking during the opening of “Lulu Hypermarket” in Hidd area in the presence of the Minister of Industry and Commerce, the Minister of Municipalities and Urban Planning, the Minister of Works and senior government officials.
Following the ribbon-cutting ceremony Shaikh Khalid toured the various sections of the hypermarket during which he was briefed on the various facilities and services that the market provides for its customers.
The Deputy Premier said that within the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and the Crown Prince and Chairman of the Economic Development Board (EDB) His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa priority has been given to citizens and catering for their needs. He also highlighted the fact that the government had provided the citizens various services which include health, housing, education and newly launched projects that serve citizens.
