The US State Department considered the royal promises to bring about more reforms that will satisfy all social components as “a historic opportunity for reconciliation in Bahrain in order to overcome the crisis.”
In a comment by its Spokesman Mark Toner, the US Department of State hailed BICI Report describing it as a launch pad to solve the crisis.
In its historic report published on Wednesday, the Bahrain Independent Commission of Inquiry found that the government of Bahrain had made clear to the commission that it had additional information which indicates Iran’s interference in the Kingdom of Bahrain’s internal affairs and that for security and secrecy purposes it did not want to reveal to the commission.
