“Anyone who looks forward to reform and development for his country should never accept or allow sliding into turmoil and sectarianism,” he said, as HRH received senior officials at his Majlis.
He credited Bahraini citizens for their patriotism and resolve to defend the national fundamentals and achievements.
He also paid tribute to the security forces for their relentless efforts to ensure security and stability.
He lauded the unprecedented political, economic and social accomplishments brought about by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
“Yet, despite these initiatives, many are still persistent to sow chaos,” HRH the Prime Minister affirmed stressing the prevalent climate of freedom and democracy in the Kingdom.
He called on every citizen to assume national responsibilities and deter threats to the nation by preserving co-existence and social cohesion.
“Bahrain is used to setting up a model to emulate thanks to its pioneering role in various fields and will remain as such despite attempts to impede progress,” he asserted pointing out the need to avail of the climate of openness and freedom of expression to boost achievements.
“Illegal practices are categorically rejected and there must be concerted efforts to confront them. The insistence of some people to shake up stability and undermine the economy will never dissuade the government from attaining its reform goals,” HRH the Prime Minister pledged.
“We are at the threshold of a phase that will witness more political, economic and social achievements as well as fast-paced development nationwide to ensure more welfare for citizens,” he said.
