His Majesty welcomed the Prime Minister and reviewed with him the existing historical bilateral relations. He also emphasized on the means of further bolstering bilateral cooperation on all levels to achieve the aspirations of the people of both countries. Moreover, during the meeting both sides discussed political issues both regionally and internationally and ways of embedding security and stability in the region.
PM Basindwa extended his thanks and appreciation for His Majesty the King’s keenness towards reinforcing ties between the two countries and working towards the best interest of people of both countries. He also briefed His Majesty on the efforts being exerted by Yemen’s reconciliation government in implementing the GCC initiative and its preparations for elections.
