The Government offices and entities will remained closed for three days starting Friday due to Public Holiday on the eve of Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) Birthday which falls on 12th Rabbi ul Awal 1433H, Saturday the February 4th.
His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister, issued on Wednesday a circular regarding the official holiday on the occasion of the birthday anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) for the year 1433H, stipulating as follows: “On the occasion of the Prophet’s birthday anniversary, it is declared that Saturday 12th Rabi-I, 1433H which corresponds to 4th February 2012 shall be an official holiday in the Kingdom’s government ministries, authorities and institutions; and, whereas this date coincides with a weekly public holiday, it shall be offset with a holiday on Sunday, 5th February 2012 instead.”
