President of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports cum Chairman of the Bahraini Olympics Committee His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa instructed the preparation of a marketing plan for Mayadeen Magazine.
The first edition of the magazine was published in cooperation between HH Shaikh Nasser’s Press Office and the Information Center, which included a speech of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa Monarch of the Kingdom of Bahrain in addition to a number of interviews, news stories of interest to young Bahrainis in all walks of life, pointing out that a marketing plan shall be endorsed in order to distribute the magazine to government authorities, private sector, NGOs who support youth in order to glean proposals and opinions from youths regarding developing the magazine in order to live up to their expectations and described the magazine as a voice of youth.
HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa revealed that the magazine’s marketing plan includes its distribution in consideration for a nominal value, provided the allocation of the magazine’s profits for philanthropic work which is one of its objectives, pointing out that the magazine shall be published quarterly at the present time and shall include topics of interest to youth, articles from young and veteran Bahraini writers with focus on youthful matters.
HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa praised the editors for their great efforts and writings which are of interest to young Bahrainis encouraged them to include more topics of interest to young Bahrainis in the magazine’s next edition.
