The eGovernment Authority in collaboration with United Nations ESCWA will organize the first specialized workshop on the sidelines of Bahrain International eGovernment Forum 2012 on Monday 9th April at Ritz Carlton Hotel, Al Noor Ballroom
The Cyber Law and Public Private Partnership (PPP Workshop) will address issues related to cyber laws, with highlights of the potentials of public and private sectors partnership. Further, the workshop will explore the privacy issues in light of the future of IT technologies, laws related to computers and the internet.
Moreover the workshop includes other issues around intellectual property rights, freedom of expression and free access to information, besides other aspects of PPP and how both the public and private sectors can benefit from the IT perspective.
The workshop includes four industry leaders and practitioners Dr. Nibal Idlebi, Chief, ICTD, Applications Section, United Nations ESCWAm Professor Wojciech Cellary, Department of IT, Poznan University of Economics, Dr A. Ramazan ALTINOK, expert on eGovernment, and Waldo Steyn, Senior Associate, Technology, Media & Telecommunications, Al Tamimi & Co.
