The Board expressed thanks and appreciation for the valued continuous support and follow-up of the Wise Political Leadership led by HM Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of Bahrain HRH the Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and HRH the Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa. The Board pledged to further enhance Bapco’s operations and its contribution to the national economy. The Board thanked His Excellency the Minister of Energy and Chairman of NOGA for his guidance and support and recorded its appreciation to the previous Board of Directors for its valuable role in the ongoing success of the Company.
The Board approved appointments of the Chairman and Members of the Board Audit and Finance Committee as well as the Chairman and Members of the Board HR Committee. Schedules and plans for the rest of the year for the Board and its Committees were agreed upon. In addition the Board discussed a number of issues concerning the future business plans.
The Chairman and the Board thanked Executive Management and employees for their ongoing excellent contributions for the success of the Company and looked forward to working together to achieving further growth and prosperity.
