Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain with mass support from His Excellency Dr. Hassan Abdulla Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, the Bahrain Exhibition and Convention Authority (BECA) will hold the 4th Annual Food and Hospitality Expo at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre from the 17th to 19th April 2012.
The event, with the support given by our leadership and Ministry of Industry and Commerce in order to progress the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions sector, is organized by Bahrain Exhibition and Convention Authority, which operates under the stewardship of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce under the direction of His Excellency Dr. Hassan Abdulla Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce and Chairman of the Board of Directors, in cooperation with its strategic partners to provide an ideal venue for business-to-business opportunities for local as well as international and regional companies.
“The Food & Hospitality Expo will provide a strategic platform for participating exhibitors including retailers and large-scale buyers in the manufacture and supply of food and hospitality products and services, manufacturers and distributors of food packaging and kitchen equipment, food and beverage professionals including caterers and chefs, and health experts. The exhibition offers an opportunity to network and meet with specialists in this growing industry in the region,” Hassan Jaffar Mohamed, Chief Executive Officer of Bahrain Exhibition and Convention Authority said.
The event, with Tamkeen as its strategic partner, is the largest gathering of food and hospitality professionals and stakeholders in this important sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain and provides a venue for business-to-business opportunity for exhibitors including retailers and relevant organisations in the production and supply of food and hospitality products and services, food packaging and kitchen equipment manufacturers and distributors, food and beverages experts and suppliers. The participation by productive families of Bahrain through sponsorship by Tamkeen with full support by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, represented by the Bahrain Exhibition and Convention Authority, aims to encourage more productivity and promote their contribution to the effectiveness of this major business.
