HRH toured various facilities including the BIC Tower and Control Room, as well as entertainment facilities prepared for children and families.
HRH the Crown Prince expressed his appreciation of the huge efforts placed by the team in preparing for this world-class event due to be hosted in the Kingdom of Bahrain in the period 20-22 April 2012 which will contribute greatly to the economy.
“This race is more than a mere global sport event and should not be politicized to serve certain goals, which may be detrimental to this international gathering”. He added that success of the Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix would be a success for all of Bahrain and its people,” HRH said.
