She was speaking during a consultative meeting held at the SCW headquarters with women non-government organisations (NGOs) which was aimed at exchanging views on ways and means of promoting cooperation as well as strengthening the national unity by bolstering social and economic growth.
“In the current challenging situation, everybody should work cohesively for the supreme interests of the nation,” she said, while lauding the efforts exerted by this segment of the society in maintaining the national stability.
She hailed the initiative of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, calling for a national dialogue bringing together all parties in the society.
She described the move as a valuable opportunity to continue the reform and modernisation process initiated by His Majesty the King by raising all issues objectively and according to the Bahraini people’s customs and traditions.
“However different views are, they can be solved through unity,” she said.
HRH Princess Sabeeka called on Bahraini women to assume their role in order to boost national unity, being an essential means to promote co-existence and tolerance in the society.
She underscored the importance of rallying ranks of the society particularly at this defining moment to protect Bahrain and preserve its security and stability.
HRH Princess Sabeeka extended heart-felt condolences to the Bahraini people and families of the victims who lost their lives in the recent sad incidents praying God Almighty to rest the victims’ souls in peace and bless their families with patience and consolation.
Representatives of the women NGOs expressed their full support to HRH the Crown Prince’s initiative stressing the need to boost social partnership between the official and non-government organizations so as to foster the spirit of national unity and shun division. The current phase requires collective action to create a climate of calmness for the national dialogue to succeed, they pointed out.
