“As the regional market is re-bounding, we are seeing a steady growth since March this year. The traffic levels have increased by 20% than any previous years,” Richard Nuttall, CEO Bahrain Air, said.
“With effect from 13th June 2012, Bahrain Air will operate out of Dammam, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s KFIA (King Fahad International Airport) with direct flights to Beirut and Khartoum. The Saudi, eastern province market response has been very positive and this will give Bahrain Air passengers better convenience flying out from KFIA (King Fahad International Airport) and eliminate delays on the Saudi Bahrain causeway,” Nuttall, added.
“Our recent launch of direct flights to Trivandrum in the Indian sub-continent are doing exceptionally well and we are also operating this summer to Alexandria, giving the traveling public a beach resort to explore,” Nuttall, said.
“Bahrain Air continues to add value added services to its full service carrier and in response to our customer feedback; we now accept payments through debit cards on our website. We have also launched our online travel portal service providing many benefits for the user. Our website now, provides travel insurance cover; this new policy is available online and provides a choice of cover for the passengers. Putting all this together, we look forward to favourable year,” Nuttall, said.
