The meeting discussed a number of key operational topics including the report of the Chairman of the Board to the General Assembly and approved the audited financial statements for the year ended in 31st December 2011. The General Assembly also, appointed the external auditors.
Bapco General Assembly Meeting was preceded by the Board of Directors’ meeting which was chaired by Adel Khalil Almoayyed, the Chairman of the Board. The meeting reviewed a number of organizational and operational issues and gave its directives on those issues. The Board then reviewed and approved the report of the Audit and Finance Committee and the 2011 audited financial statements.
Dr. Mirza extended his thanks and appreciation to the wise Political leadership; HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister and HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the BDF for their continued support to the Oil Industry in Bahrain and to Bapco in particular. He also, thanked Bapco’s management and employees for their commitment and dedication in maintaining the company’s high standards in safety and production and for their role in praising Bapco’s ability to continue its growth and prominent status locally and globally.
