The Minister informed the Council’s members of the Cabinet’s approval on the submitted loan by the Islamic Development Bank, during the Arabic Tourism Organization meeting, to support the affected tourism sectors in the Arab countries due to current circumstances.
The meeting discussed the Ministry’s recommendations in regard to adopting a financial audit company to audit the touristic facilities’ financial reports, in addition to adding 5% as touristic services fees.
The Council’s members were also informed of celebrating the world Tourism Day on the 27 September 2012, as well as celebrating Manama Capital of Arab Tourism 2013.
The Minister invited the Council’s members to attend Tylos Expo that will be transferred from Manama to be hosted at Saint Petersburg, Russia next July.
