CEO of EWA visits Muharraq area

CEO of Electricity and Water Authority, the engineer Shaikh Nawaf Bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa visits Al-Qaysariya Market in Muharraq Governorate to see flow of the power supply to the urban areas
The CEO of Electricity and Water Authority, the engineer Shaikh Nawaf Bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa paid an inspection visit to Al-Qaysariya Market in Muharraq Governorate and to a number of power plants in presence of the representative of the municipal council of the region, Ghazi Al Mirbatti.

The inspection visit came as implementation of the directives of His Royal Highness the Prime Minister, Prince Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa, and to be in contact with citizens and their representatives to know about their needs through field visits, and as keenness of the Electricity and Water Authority to respond to the aspirations of the citizens. The Authority also wanted to exert efforts to provide high quality services.

Shaikh Nawaf listened to a detailed brief of what projects that had been accomplished in the area, and the projects that would be implemented ensuring the security and safety requirements.

Shaikh Ibrahim said that the work was continuous to provide the best services to citizens, ensuring that the Authority was proceeding in establishing more of these plants to reduce the electric cuts, as well as strengthening the electric grid to increase relying on them particularly in the areas that had experienced cuts during the summer of that year.

The representative of the municipal council, Ghazi Al Mirbatti expressed his great thanks and appreciation to Shaikh Nawaf for his rapid response and intensive follow-up of the citizens’ needs of development in electricity and water services, as well as meeting with the citizens to know about their requirements.

Al Mirbatti also commended the efforts of the officials of the authority who were keen to quickly respond to the demands of the citizens, highlighting that those efforts showed keenness allocated to the citizens to have distinguished services.

Shaikh Nawaf highlighted the unlimited support of His Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the wise government under the Chairmanship of His Royal Highness the Prime Minister, Prince Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa and the support of the Crown Prince His Royal Highness Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
He pointed out that such supports encouraged them to provide more efforts and achieve the aspirations of the wise leadership to present the best living standards for the citizens and develop the economic and urban movement to accomplish a sustainable development for all in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
