Bahrain City Centre on Monday launched a unique Apple Shopping Bonanza by unveiling a ‘Giant Mannequin’ at the start of the holiday season.
Bahrain City Centre is celebrating the winter holiday season with the largest ever display of a ‘Giant Mannequin’ in the form of a lady! The five-meter high Apple Lady icon was unveiled in the shopping mall’s Centre Court, adorned with an unknown amount of apples.
With the launch of the iconic Apple Lady figure, City Centre’s ‘Guess & Win’ campaign officially kicked off which will run through January 15th 2011. Shoppers spending a minimum of BD 20 at any Bahrain City Centre store can redeem their receipt at Customer Service for a chance to win one of 28 I pads and to guess the number of apples making up the Apple Lady’s outfit for a chance to win the Grand Apple prize package valued at more than BD 3,500.
“The Apple theme was chosen as it ties in perfectly with the Apple prizes to be won in our ‘Guess & Win’ contest, and to add an element of fun for our customers, we chose to create a giant five-meter high mannequin adorned with the apples to provide a never-seen-before visual experience for our guests, tie fashion into our event in a unique way and provide some excitement for our customers,” said Ray Scott, General Manager of Bahrain City Centre.
Apart from the chance for customers to win an I pad a day, each day for the duration of the 28 day event, Bahrain City Centre will also distribute a limited number of fresh apples to customers throughout the centre to advertise the contest and promote healthy food choices throughout the winter season. At the end of the contest, on 16th January 2011, Bahrain City Centre will make one final Grand Draw for the closest guess to the actual number of apples for the chance to win the grand Apple prize package valued at over BD 3,500.
Bahrain City Centre timings are 10 am to 10 pm Sunday to Wednesday and from 10 am to midnight on Thursday to Saturday.
