Parliament Speaker Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Dhahrani hailed Yemen’s honourable stance in support of Bahrain, stressing deep-rooted historic relations bonding both countries.
He affirmed Bahrain’s keenness on promoting cooperation with Yemen in all fields, towards enhancing the volume of trade exchanges and boosting investments for the sake of both countries and peoples’ interests.
Al-Dhahrani was speaking as he received at Bahrain International Airport Yemeni Parliament Speaker Ali Yahya Al-Rae, who started a visit to Bahrain as part of preparations to attend the World Parliamentarians’ Convention, scheduled to be held in Canada next week.
Al-Rae hailed the reform project and democratic march in Bahrain, stressing his country’s firm support for the Kingdom’s security and stability.
He described the security and stability of Bahrain and Yemen as inseparable, lauding the efforts of the Kingdom and its Government to push political, legislative, economic and social reforms forward.
