Ambassador Feierstein highlighted the importance of foreign investments and assistance in developing Yemen’s recovering economy.
“With continued support from the Bilateral US-Arab Chamber of Commerce, Yemen has great potential as a force for growth in the region.”
He highlighted several bilateral programs including a historic business mission to Yemen last June led by David L Phillips, chairman of the Bilateral Chamber. That mission featured meetings with the President, Prime Minister, Ministers of Energy, Education, and Labour of Yemen’s newly elected government. These programs have resulted in multiple contracts between chamber members and Yemen’s public and private sectors.
