He especially called on the hotels sectors and tourism services, all parties and relevant agencies either governmental or private, to cooperate and achieve the desired readiness commensurate with those great important events.
Dr. Fakhro also called on ensuring the desired success and present a positive reflection for Bahrain’s guests that the Kingdom has all the potentialities to organize the different regional and international events successfully.
“There are direct and indirect economic returns injected that service the various economic and trade sectors resulting from organizing those two important events.”
Dr. Fakhro highlighted that many countries are now relying on such great events either they were sports, or artistic or conferences and exhibitions to spur the trade movement, saying that there is now what is called the industry of exhibitions, conferences and great events. He also pointed out the economic dimension that is represented in the increasing numbers of tourists and visitors coming to Kingdom during holding such events, which urge them to exert more efforts to make those events successful.
Dr. Fakhro also called the hotels, tourism, transport and all various sectors to present considerable prices to contribute in the success of those events and reflect an outstanding image of the Kingdom of Bahrain. He says, “Bahrain is proud of the success achieved through hosting such championships and tournaments in the late years, which created an honorable image of the Kingdom before the whole world.”
Dr. Fakhro called on the private sector to support the economic and trade movement, and trigger the tourism sector through holding promotional and tourist activities accompanying those two championships. He added that the chamber has its integrated strategic vision for the economic and tourist promotion as well as the creation of investing environment in Bahrain, especially in line with the state’s concern of diversifying resources of the income.
Dr. Fakhro praised the efforts supporting the national economy, and reinforcing world confidence in the investing environment and stability in Bahrain done by the wise leadership represented in His Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Respected Prime Minister, HRH Prince Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa and the Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander HRH Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
