His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa welcomed at Al-Bustan Palace, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme, the GCC Foreign Ministers along with the GCC Secretary-General The meeting was on the sidelines of the 125th session of the GCC Foreign Ministers’ Council in preparation of the 33rd GCC Summit, set for next month in Bahrain.
The ministers conveyed to HM the King greetings from GCC leaders and their wishes of further progress and prosperity for Bahrain and its people.
HM the King welcomed the ministers, hailing their efforts to promote the GCC march, affirming Bahrain’s keen interest to reinforce the GCC momentum and achieve peoples’ hopes and aspirations of further joint integration and cooperation conducive to unity.
HM the King praised the GCC political, economic, social development achievements, pointing out that Bahrain welcomes the upcoming GCC Summit.
He wished the ministers success in their meeting to bolster the GCC march, wishing all GCC member states further development, stability and prosperity.
The ministers expressed thanks and appreciation to HM the King for his constant keen interest to develop the GCC march.
They reviewed with HM the King meeting agenda, expressing confidence that Bahrain’s upcoming summit will be a defining moment for the GCC future progress.
HM King Hamad earlier hosted a lunch banquet in honor of the GCC foreign ministers.
