Minister of State for Electricity and Water Affairs, Dr. Abdul Hussain Bin Ali Mirza met with Minister of State for Telecommunications Affairs, Shaikh Fawaz Bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, where Dr. Mirza welcomed Shaikh Fawaz and congratulated him for the royal trust to appoint him a minister of Telecommunications Affairs. Both sides reviewed areas of joint cooperation between the two ministries.
“The meeting comes in the coordination framework between the two ministries based on the wise directives of the Prime Minister, HRH Prince Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa, who always stresses the importance of such coordination to attain the desired goals to provide the best services to citizens,” Dr. Mirza said.
He also highlighted that the meeting was fruitful and constructive, where they discussed the cooperation frameworks, particularly with regard to the optical fibers network and what Electricity and Water Authority can provide in this area.
Shaikh Fawaz Bin Mohammed Al Khalifa expressed his utmost appreciation for the cooperation and response he received from Dr. Abdul Hussain Bin Ali Mirza, pointing out that this will facilitate the joint work for the welfare of the dear homeland.
The meeting was attended by Electricity and Water Authority’s CEO Shaikh Nawaf Bin Ibrahim Bin Hamad Al Khalifa and a number of officials at Ministry of Telecommunications Affairs.
