The Royal Charity Organisation (RCO) Secretary General Dr. Mustafa Al Sayed signed in the Jordanian capital, Amman, an agreement with the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) to provide and equip 500 prefab cabins ordered by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for the Syrian refuges at the Zaatari Camp to help them overcome harsh climatic conditions.

The agreement was concluded under the patronage of the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO) Board of Trustees Chairman Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and in the presence of Bahraini Ambassador to Jordan Nasser bin Rashid Al Ka’abi.

Shaikh Nasser expressed sincerest thanks and gratitude to HM the King, the RCO Honorary President, for his humanitarian initiative to extend a lifeline for the Syrian refugees at the camp, which has been reeling under heavy rain and snowstorms.

He commended Jordan’s support, under the leadership of Jordanian Monarch King Abdullah II, to carry out the humanitarian project benefiting the Syrian refugee brethren at the Zaatari Camp.

He also praised the role of the Bahraini government, led by His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and continuous follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, in backing RCO projects to provide aid and assistance to brotherly and friendly countries.

The RCO Secretary General highly valued the royal initiative aimed at alleviating the Syrian refugees’ suffering, lauding Shaikh Nasser’s distinguished efforts in this regard.

JHCO Secretary General Aymen Riyadh Al-Meflah extended heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the Bahraini leadership and people for their tremendous support to the Syrian people which underscore strong ties binding both countries.

The Bahraini Ambassador to Jordan hailed the noble royal humanitarian gesture to ease the suffering of the Syrian people, thanking HRH the Prime Minister and HRH the Crown Prince for their support.
