Menatelecom supported the 33rd GCC Clubs Handball Championship which will be held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and organized by Al Ahli Club during 16th to 25th of March.
Abdul Razak Jawahery, Chairman of Menatelecom, presented a sponsorship cheque to Ali Qassim Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the championship at Menatelecom’s Headquarters in the Seef District.
Abdul Razak Jawahery said “Menatelecom is supporting society through sponsoring various sports activities in order to promote the sports sector in Bahrain. We are pleased to provide support to the GCC Clubs Championship and we wish the Al Ahli Club all the success in their endeavors.
“We are keen to contribute towards the development of the Bahraini youth through various sports activities and tournaments in order to raise the standards in the Kingdom. We recognize the significance of the GCC Clubs Handball Championship and feel it is our responsibility to support such initiatives for the Bahraini society,” Jawahery, added.
Ali Qassim Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the championship expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to Menatelecom for their contribution which will contribute towards the success of the GCC Championship.
Qasim praised the positive role of Menatelecom and thanked them for their commitment and eagerness to serve Bahraini youth and the society. He also expressed his appreciation for this gesture by the company.
