The Deputy CEO of Electricity and Water Authority, Adnan Fakhroo and Abdul Mijeed Al-Qassab, the Chairman of Bahrain Society of Engineers signed a memorandum of understanding to organize “An Exhibition and Forum for Rationalizing Energy and Water.” The exhibition will be held under the patronage of Minister of State for electricity and water at Bahrain International Conventions and Exhibition Centre in the period between June 17 to 19 – 2013.
The signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding was attended by Engineer Jassim Al Shirawi, as a representative of National Oil and Gas Authority that is participating in organizing such annual event for the fourth consecutive year.
“The aim of the exhibition and forum is to highlight awareness of the importance of rationalizing energy and water to preserve our natural wealth away from unnecessary waste, and search for alternative resources to produce energy, and water in a way to find the optimal method in consumption, and benefit from the experiences of the advanced countries in that area,” Adnan Fakhro said.
Engineer Adnan Fakhroo also said that the exhibition will provide a platform for companies and institutions to show their products and services related to the rationalization of energy and water.
For his part, Engineer Abdul Mijeed Al-Qassab said “Bahrain Society of Engineers is honored to have cooperation with Electricity and Water Authority to organize such important exhibition and forum, which will be positively reflected on development in Kingdom of Bahrain.”
