Minister of Culture, Her Excellency Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, received in her office the friendly Kingdom of Thailand’s Ambassador in the Kingdom of Bahrain, Vichai Varasirikul, and explored with him bilateral cultural cooperation relations between the two friendly countries and strategies to boost mutual cooperation.
The Minister pointed out that Bahrain especially during this phase seeks to construct suitable infrastructures to attract tourists from various cultural backgrounds beyond geographic boundaries and seeks to consolidate Bahrain-Thailand cooperation relations and boost cultural cooperation.
The Thai Ambassador assured that cultural exchanges opportunities will be available now that the Kingdom of Bahrain this year lives in spectacular atmospheres of (Manama as the Capital of Arab Tourism Festival 2013), and he described the Bahraini cultural experience as outstanding and substantial and expressed his desire to boost bilateral cooperation between the two friendly countries and peoples commensurate with their cultural aspirations.
The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand in the Kingdom of Bahrain expressed his delight towards organizing the Thai Cultural Week under kind auspices of the Bahraini Ministry of Culture by the end of May 2013 at the Cultural Hall and the Arts Center in order to enable Bahraini travelers to enjoy a virtual tour to the Kingdom of Thailand without experiencing any geographic boundaries.
