Bapco sportsmen felicitated at ceremony

Keeping with its continued efforts to encourage and maintain employees’ sporting spirit in the Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco), a felicitation ceremony was held recently for members of Bapco’s Football and Running teams at the Bapco Club ballroom.

The ceremony aimed to highlight and recognise the players’ contributions over 2012. During the event, players were presented with gifts as a token of appreciation. Present at the event was Bapco’s General Manager Marketing, Khalid Sabbagh, who thanked and appreciated the players for their valued contributions.

For their part, the awarded players thanked Bapco’s management for its continued support and encouragement, which enabled them to achieve good results last year. The ceremony is part of Bapco’s ongoing efforts aimed at encouraging the sports activities, stemming from Bapco’s firm belief in the key role assumed by sports in fostering the overall development and aspired welfare of the society.
