His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa issued edict 12 for 2011 approving the recent reports released by the Quality Assurance Authority for Education and Training (QAAET).
HRH Premier issued another edict amending edict no. 43 for 2003, amended according to edict 67 for 2006 , concerning ownership of real-estate and land by non- Bahrainis.
Under the edict, traditional foreign retail banks are allowed to temporarily own real estate or lands they actually fund according to Islamic banking provided that they adhere to the decisions and regulations of the Central Bank of Bahrain.
In another edict, HRH Premier appointed Abdulla Mohammed Ghanim Al Sulaiti as Director of Archeology and National Heritage and Sahar Abdulwahab Matar as Director of Human and Financial Resources at the Culture Ministry.
