Shigehisa was accompanied by members of the Japanese-Bahraini Economic Cooperation Association (JBECA), who are currently visiting Bahrain on the occasion of the Entrepreneurship Forum 2013.
His Royal Highness praised relations between Bahrain and Japan and both countries’ dedication to expanding their cooperation. His Royal Highness also praised the results of his visits to Japan for both countries across a number of areas, including economic and industrial cooperation.
His Royal Highness particularly noted the high level of diverse Japanese investment in Bahrain, and its role in industrial development that nonetheless depends on human resources. His Royal Highness also pointed out that Japan’s industrial entrepreneurship depends on research and technology.
His Royal Highness went on to welcome the participants in the Entrepreneurship Forum 2013 and praised the innovative ideas and rich experience that it offers, alongside the opportunities it provides to both Bahrain and Japan in developing sectors.
His Royal Highness also emphasised the importance of supporting industrial cooperation between Bahrain and Japan, which will positively reflect on other sectors, and stated that he looked forward to greater bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
Shigehisa and the participants thanked His Royal Highness for the meeting and the opportunity to share their experiences and participation in the forum.
