He added that while securing the region, the on-duty security forces came under fire from a locally-made weapon. Two policemen were injured and transported to the hospital where one of them is still undergoing treatment, he pointed out.
Consequently, certain procedures have been taken to reinforce police patrols with members of the Anti-terror Unit to uncover the source of shooting, he explained, pointing out that investigations are still underway to track down the perpetrators.
