He was speaking as he received at Gudaibiya Palace Representatives Council Speaker Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Dhahrani, Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, MPs and senior officials.
HRH stressed rallying ranks and commitment to national unity as a necessity to be held on to in confronting all challenges. He lauded national stances rejecting foreign intervention in the national affair, describing intervention in internal affairs as categorically unacceptable.
He urged never to allow undermining national unity and achievements, adding that public awareness and cooperation among the powers are capable of protecting the nation from woven plots.
HRH the Prime Minister stressed that the development and urbanisation process will continue unabated so as to achieve citizens’ aspirations. He thanked the parliament for its monitoring and legislative role, adding that cooperation between the executive and legislative powers is capable of maximising national achievements. He pointed out the need to determine shortcomings and work collaboratively on remedying them.
