The National Institution of Human Rights (NIHR) Commissioners’ Council held its fourth regular meeting at its Seef-based headquarters.
NIHR President Dr. Abdulaziz Hassan Abul chaired the session which approved issues which would be discussed in workshops before incorporating them in NIHR strategy and workplan.
The council was notified about the participation of NIHR Civil and Political Rights Committee chairperson Jamila Ali-Salman and member Farid Ghazi in the 9th annual meeting of the Arab Human Rights Network, scheduled to be held on June 15-16, 2013, in Rabat, Morocco. The NIHR Commissioners’ Council agreed to convene for its 5th regular meeting on June 25.
