His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa stressed Bahrain’s independence and sovereignty, adding that any intervention in its domestic affairs will never be allowed.
He was speaking as he received at Gudaibiya Palace senior officials, in the presence of Representatives Council Speaker Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Dhahrani, Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh and MPs.
He said that any problem will be solved nationally, pointing out the parliament’s role in representing the Bahraini people and their aspirations.
He urged to maintain cooperation with the legislative power and listen to the MPs’ remarks so as to cater to citizens’ needs.
He noted that communication between citizens and with them is a necessity and has now become more important than ever before with attempts by some to drive wedges and undermine national unity.
HRH the Prime Minister emphasised the need for the media to assume its role in promoting such values among the Bahraini people, thwart attempts to sow seeds of sedition and debunk fallacies aimed at downplaying Bahrain’s achievements.
He also underscored the government’s care for citizens’ welfare, security and stability, describing that as a top priority.
He urged ministries to ensure streamlined, fast and optimum services are provided for citizens at all times.
