On behalf of Interior Minister Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al- Khalifa, Minister of State for Interior Affairs Major-General Adel bin Khalifa Al-Fadhel patronised the graduation of the 23rd Commando batch at the Special Security Forces Command headquarters.
The Minister was welcomed on arrival by the Chief of Public Security, the Commander of the Special Security Forces. He paid tribute to Interior Minister Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al- Khalifa for supporting all sectors to improve their role in maintaining security.
He described such a support as a catalyst which motivated policemen, enhanced their capabilities and improved their performance. He also hailed competent training and efforts to reinforce the development and modernisation policy of the ministry.
Al-Fadhel commended policemen’s efficiency and discipline while performing their law-enforcement duties, hailing their dedication in serving the nation and maintaining stability.
He also congratulated the graduates, along with their families, stressing their responsibility to maintain security, being a patriotic duty in order to protect lives and properties.
The Special Security Forces Commander delivered a speech hailed the support of Major-General Al-Fadhel which, he said, had contributed to improving the efficiency and preparedness of the special security forces.
After the speech the graduates demonstrated their skills learned during the course. The event concluded with the distribution of certificates among the graduates and Major-General Al-Fadhel honoured the top graduates. The event was also attended by senior Interior Ministry officers.
