The details of the incident indicate that the six defendants and some others who seek disorder, lit tires after they had placed a gas cylinder inside them aiming at causing the greatest damage to the public and private property, of which led to a powerful explosion that sent its fragments away up to 100 meters and hit the victim in her house, causing severe sporadic injuries in the face and a permanent disability about 5%.
The permanent injuries were deformities in the forehead, and the upper right eye lid, in addition to parenthesis in the same position, and also her child was hit with sporadic injuries, and the contents of the house were damaged.
Upon receiving the communication, public prosecution immediately investigated into the incident, where one of the defendants was arrested, and admitted in detail with committing the incident with the rest of the defendants.
Meanwhile, public prosecution referred them to the High Criminal Court accusing them with triggering bombing to terrorize innocent people, and causing intentional burning in implementation of a terrorist act which led to injuring the victim with permanent disability. In addition, the defendants were also accused of possessing flammable explosives to expose people’s lives, public and private funds to danger, and participating in acts of rioting to disrupt public security based on the confessions of the first defendant, the course of investigations, the victims statements and the technical reports, where the court ruled with the mentioned judgment.
