This came as she received the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the “Gulf Security” magazine Shaikh Bandar Khalid Al Mikrad, and the magazine’s Editor-in-Chief and political analyst Abdulrahman Al-Mesfar Al-Ajmi.
She valued highly the steps taken so far to achieve security and military cooperation among GCC countries within the amended version of the GCC Security Pact and the Manama Summit’s resolution to set up a unified military command, emanating from the principle of collective security.
She added that the security of the Arabian Gulf is indivisible in light of the common destiny and goals of GCC countries, and the need to confront terrorism, money laundering and other organised international crimes, praising GCC states’ honourable support for Bahrain’s security and stability, their dismantling of terrorist cells and the role played by the Joint Peninsula Shield Forces in protecting the kingdom’s borders and securing its vital establishments and sites.
The Minister of State congratulated the “Gulf Security” magazine’s Board Chairman and Editor-in-Chief for issuing such a publication specialised in defence and security studies, noting that the magazine adds value to the key role played by Kuwaiti media in promoting security awareness and culture, and supports decision-makers with scientific strategic research and visions regarding ways to confront internal and external threats.
The “Gulf Security” magazine’s Board Chairman thanked the Minister for the meeting and the hospitality accorded to his delegation, explaining that the “Gulf Security” is a bimonthly strategic defence, security and political magazine published by the Kuwaiti-Cypriot Company for Integrated Services.
