HRH Premier added that the doors of the government are always kept wide-open for the trade community, given their crucial role in the national march, stressing that traders’ stances on national issues should be heard.
He noted that the events that the kingdom had gone through were not meant to achieve political or economic development, but aimed to serve other goals that are no longer hidden.
This came as HRH Prime Minister received today at the Gudaibiya Palace the newly-formed Board of the Bahrain Businessmen Society, led by its Honourary President dignitary Khalid bin Abdulrahman Al-Moayyad and Chairman Ahmed Abdulla bin Hindi.
During the audience, HRH Premier asserted that Bahrain boasts competitive trade and investment incentives.
He underlined the government’s constant support for the private sector out of its belief in its role in backing its development efforts, taking pride in the private sector’s landmark contributions to the development fields and pledging the government’s resolve to remove all obstacles facing the commercial sector in order to boost trade activity and enhance economic growth.
He emphasised that building the nation, developing its potentials and safeguarding its accomplishments are shared responsibilities, noting that security is a basic requirement for building a prosperous nation whose development dividends are reaped by everybody.
He commended the efforts and landmark contributions of Bahraini businessmen, calling upon them to take optimum advantage of the incentives, initiatives and facilities provided by the government and the kingdom’s advanced infrastructure and economic freedom and openness in order to consolidate the country’s competitive trade potentials at the regional and global levels.
On their part, members of the Bahrain Businessmen Society lauded HRH Premier’s support for the trade and economic sectors, and sound directives to remove all obstacles facing them, which, they said, reflects his unlimited support for Bahraini businessmen and appreciation of their key role in the comprehensive development march achieved by the government, under his wise leadership.
