HRH Prime Minister strongly condemns terrorist attack

His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa
His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa strongly condemned the heinous and ignominious terror explosion which targeted a mosques and worshippers in the holy month of Ramadan.

He denounced the abominable act, describing it as an odious attempt to drag the country into the cauldron of sectarian strife

He stressed the Government and people’s rejection of such despicable designs which contravene all religious and ethical values.

He described the criminal explosion as representing a dangerous escalation in terror tactics which are being fuelled by a systematic incitement.

HRH the Premier affirmed the resolve of the Government and loyal people to confront the spate of terror acts, vowing to thwarts such heinous designs seeking to subvert national security and stability.

He urged all parties to assume their responsibilities and stand united to thwart all plots aimed at driving wedges and sowing sectarian divide.

HRH the Premier voiced the stance as he visited the majlis of Deputy Premier Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa, where he exchanged greetings on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan.

He stressed the need to move from the phase of GCC cooperation to the phase of full-fledged federation, adding that the necessary conditions for the GCC union are tangible on the ground.

He paid tribute to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdulla bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud for advocating the GCC union, saying that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led by its wise leadership has all the credentials to play a pioneering role, citing particularly its economic leverage.

The Premier hailed the crucial role of the local press in assuming its patriotic role, stressing his confidence in Bahraini writers and journalists who are dedicated more than ever to serve the nation and advocate its vital interests.

He asserted resolve to continue the march of development and progress, paying no heed to desperate attempts to derail the Government’s work.

“Nothing will prevent us from achieving all the aspirations of the nation and citizens”, he said.

HRH the Premier urged loyal people to steer away from calls aimed at sowing divisions, adding that the rule of the law would be enforced.

He stressed the need to commit to national unity, preserved achievements protect security and stability for Bahrain to progress and prosper.
