Batelco Group in a statement said that it had agreed with Cable & Wireless Communications Plc (CWC) an extension to the second long stop date for the receipt of required consents and approvals for the sale of CWC’s business in the Seychelles from 2 September to 2 December 2013.
This follows on from Batelco’s news statement on 3 April 2013 when the Group announced the completion of its acquisition of various companies from CWC.
