“This measure is in line with the Royal decree (1) for 2011 on proclaiming the State of National Safety”, the Military Public Prosecutor said. The Edict (1) for 2011, issued by the BDF Commander-in-Chief, and published on March 16, 2011, bans rallies, marches, sit-ins across Bahrain and prohibits calls for such acts through audio visual media or newspapers until further notice. Violators will face the procedures stipulated in the Royal Decree proclaim the State of National Safety.
