In response to the AFP report that Bahrain police dispersed protests near the Seef district, the Police Media Center (PMC) reported on Saturday that the AFP article is not only incorrect but also misleading. The PMC said the AFP article is just one of several similarly incorrect reports by other media outlets.
The PMC renews its call to the media to adhere to professional standards and to seek information from official sources rather than depending on unverified rumors on social media that are often aimed at spreading misinformation.
In fact, the citizens and residents of Bahrain enjoyed a pleasant Eid Al Adha holiday and their daily lives and affairs were normal.
