Motorcity, the sole distributor for Hino trucks in the Kingdom of Bahrain, has been awarded as the Distributor Champion for 2013 by winning the Middle East and North Africa Hino Skill Contest held at their regional office in Sharjah, UAE on 26 and 27 November 2013, where contestants from 9 countries took part.
The competition had both theoretical and practical challenges which were strictly monitored and judged by specialist from Hino Middle East and Japan. Theoretical phase of the challenge covered various questions pertaining to maintenance, product knowledge and extracts from the trainings conducted by Hino Middle East. The practical phase of the challenge had 5 different work stations covering Preventive Maintenance, Diagnostics, Engine Overhaul, Brake Overhaul and Measurements. Motorcity team leader (Hino), Parvez Nagari won the ‘First’ position as ‘Champion’ of the 2013 Middle East and North Africa Hino skill competition.
