Trade shows and expos stimulate the economy

The continuous process of hosting trade shows and exhibitions continue to be a catalyst to stimulate the local economy as well as to attract foreign investments, according to a leading businessman.

Abdulhameed Al Asfoor, Managing Director, AMG, who successfully created retail expo as a regular event twice a year, told The24X7News that such events would continue provide cushioning to the economy.

Al Asfoor, who also added car trade show with the shopping festival, said that the automotive sector being one of the vibrant sectors of the economy would benefit immensely from AGM motor shows twice a year.

“Being organisers of both shows, AGM has received an overwhelming response from the local businesses as well as potential buyers. We expect over 20,000 visitors and potential buyers over the four days show including from Saudi Arabia. This type of activity definitely seen as one of the vital aspects of any thriving and sustaining economies in the region,” Al Asfoor added.
