The Minister was speaking as he held talks with the AEM CEO Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa accompanied by Sales Chief Executive Fawzi Al Shahabi, Chief Executive Officer Stephen Key and CEO of Bahrain Exhibition and Convention Authority (BECA) Hassan Jaafar at the BECA Majlis.
The Minister praised the level of exhibition which is considered one of the major exhibitions and promotional event in the Kingdom of Bahrain that enhances industry exhibition and attracts major international companies. The Minister pointed out in this regard to the support and assistance that the government provide to AEM and facilities granted by the Ministry and BECA to facilitate company’s work and its various activities.
Then they discussed a number of related topics to develop exhibition industry and enhance its contribution in the national output in particular; especially this is one of the most attractive elements for global investments. Dr. Fakhro noted government support for this sector and facilities offered to enhance its role which reflects positively on the economy.
In this regard, the Minister noted to cooperate between the Ministry and BECA on the one hand, and Arabian Exhibition Management and the private sector on the other hand, to develop this vital sector that has a return on the national economy.
Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa thanked and appreciates government and Ministry on their all efforts in order to enhance economic position regionally and globally and for Ministry support to AEM in particular.
