The annual MEIF Awards, which are among the most prestigious in the region, are designed to recognize individuals and institutions that have made significant contributions to the advancement of the Middle East insurance industry.
Abdul Rahman Mohammed Al Baker, Executive Director of Financial Institutions Supervision at the Central Bank of Bahrain, presented the awards to the winners at an impressive gala dinner and awards ceremony held during the 10th anniversary celebrations of MEIF 2014.

AXA Insurance (Gulf) has been voted as the winner of the 2014 MEIF Institutional Excellence Award from a short-list of nominees through a unique industry-based voting system.
