HRH highlighted the importance of the private sector as engine of growth as he received the new Board of Directors of BCCI led by Chairman Khalid Al Moayyed.
He expressed confidence the new board will usher in a new phase of work and achievements, congratulating the members on their election and the democratic spirit which prevailed while casting ballots.
He praised the new BCCI board as a harmonious blend of trade experience and the ambition of the youth, underscoring the need for all to cooperate in maintaining national security and stability.
HRH the Prime Minister lauded BCCI role in supporting the economic and trade momentum in Bahrain and backing the government’s efforts in this regard.
He reiterated the government’s resolve to continue providing the private sector with all needed investment facilities so as it continues invigorating the economy.
He underscored the importance of continuous partnership between the government and the private sector at all levels.
On their part, the new BCCI Board of Directors commended HRH the Prime Minister’s valuable directives, lauding his strong support to the commercial sector. They reiterated their rejection and denunciation of all terror acts aimed at shaking up security and stability.
