MANAMA: The Kingdom of Bahrain and Spain on Thursday discussed the ways and means to consolidate the joint cooperation and coordination aimed at increasing the volume of bilateral trade and enhancing the scope of joint investments.
This was the crux of talks held between the Industry and Commerce Minister Dr. Hassan Fakhro and the Spanish Industry, Energy and Tourism Minister José Manuel Soria Lopez, as part of the Spanish Monarch King Juan Carlos’ official visit to Bahrain.
Both sides reviewed issues of mutual interest and explored areas of bilateral economic and investment relations.
Dr. Fakhro affirmed the importance of such high-level visits and accompanying events which promote bilateral ties, especially economically, including vital sectors such as trade, industry and investment in all areas.
Dr Fakhro highlighted the positive impact of such events and mutual visits to benefit from the expertise and information available in various fields in both countries, and use them to strengthen joint cooperation.
The Spanish Minister expressed pride in the solid bilateral relations, affirming his aspiration to consolidate these relations to meet the expectations of the two countries and benefit their people.
