MANAMA: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa is a pioneering leader for promoting dialogue to resolve conflicts and difference of opinion, according to HRH Prince Turki Al Faisal al Saud.
The Chairman of the King Faisal Centre for Research and Islamic Studies, His Royal Highness Prince Turki Al Faisal al Saud, in his keynote address at ‘The Dialogue of Civilisations’ Conference highlighted the importance of HM King Hamad’s initiative applauded the vision of HM King by hosting such a global event in Bahrain.
His Majesty King Hamad, he said, is a visionary leader and HM’s initiative to promote the dialogue has essentially elevated the Kingdom’s of Bahrain’s status as a country for promoting peace through dialogue.
The Conference was opened under the auspices of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa under the theme ‘civilisations in the service of humanity’ has attracted 350 delegates from 83 countries concludes on Wednesday.
His Royal Highness discussed effective means of building friendly links among nations, in addition to the need to remove threats to peace and enhance international cooperation.
