MANAMA: The Cabinet on Sunday approved the consolidated final accounts of the state 2013, as well as a report on the implementation of the state budget for 2013 and decided to refer them to the Council of Representatives.
The report revealed that revenues reached BD 2.9 billion, posting an increase by BD153million and real expenditures BD3.3million, making a decrease of BD547 million.
It also revealed a decrease in the budget deficit by BD700 million.
HRH Premier directed to encourage the employment of Bahrainis and ease the movement of expatriate workers to absorb the workers’ surplus and address the issue of illegal workers.
