MANAMA: Minister of State for Telecommunications Affairs, Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa, commended the efforts of BIX for providing premium services for internet users.
“Such services will consolidate Bahrain’s standing as an acknowledged regional centre for telecommunications and information technology,” the Minister said.
The Minister expressed these views as he received Bahrain Internet Exchange (BIX) Chairman Brigadier Mansour Mohammed Al-Hajeri and newly-appointed Executive Director Shaima Abdulrahman Al-Hamed.
He congratulated Shaima Abdulrahman Al-Hamed on her appointment and commended her competence, wishing her success in her new position.
