Rasheed Mohammed Al Maraj, Governor of the Central Bank of Bahrain received a delegation headed by Kuat Kozhakhmetov Deputy Governor of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan, who is visiting Bahrain draw from the experience of the Kingdom of Bahrain in the development of the financial sector and the role of the CBB in the development of the Islamic finance industry.
The meeting was also attended by Bakyt batyrshayev Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The visit comes in the context of the development of mutual relations between the two countries following the official visit of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of Bahrain to the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Governor welcomed the guest delegation at the outset and wished them a pleasant stay in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and then gave them a briefing on the financial and banking sector in the Kingdom, and the supervisory role played by the CBB.
